Antagene Inc. has secured a 40 acres animal facility with a state of art animal facility that is UDSA accredited and has NIH Assurance. We are well-positioned as a primary supplier in contract animal research services providing services to a host of clients. The company is dedicated to offer a wide range of quality preclinical contract animal research services designed to support various research programs. These services range from the preparation of animal models for client use to the complete outsourcing of entire studies.

I. Animal models for research; toxicology; animal nutrition and intensive systems for production of animal proteins.

An animal model usually refers to a non-human animal with a disease that is similar to a human condition. These test conditions are often termed as animal models of disease. The use of animal models allows researchers to investigate disease states in ways which would be inaccessible in a human patient.

In order to serve as an useful model, a modelled disease must be similar in etiology (mechanism of cause) and function to the human equivalent. Animal models are used to learn more about a disease, its diagnosis and its treatment.

Animal Histology (top)

Antagene provides research-quality histology service , and uses routine paraffin processing, embedding, sectioning and staining with standard histological methods, including special orientation of tissues, serial and/or step sections and a range of immunocytochemical analyses. We routinely deal with frozen tissues (both fresh-frozen and fixed-frozen) and sections and stains them for a broad range of biochemical and immunohistochemical stains.
